Fortnite has never quite been shy about its anime collaborations, with the likes of Dragon Ball, Jujutsu Kaisen, and even a recently resurgent run of Naruto characters in the roster. But as of December 21, 2025, Fortnite will begin its new collaboration to bring Bleach to its world. With Pacific Break in full swing, it's the latest big anime headliner.
Bleach and its animation studio Pierrot confirmed this news via their official X account, also sharing an image of the characters featured in the collab. Joining the main character, Ichigo Kurosaki, is Orihime Inoue, Rukia Kuchiki, and Uryū Ishida, appropriately staging an epic landing. This brings anime one step closer to having the entire Shonen Big Three in Fortnite.

With Bleach coming to Fortnite, players can clash Zanpakutō upon making landfall, alongside any additional goodies yet to be revealed. As this collab comes in time to promote Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War's upcoming Part 4 release, it's doubtlessly an exciting one. Now, only One Piece remains as the final of the Shonen Big Three to join.
For most players, this collab will drop December 20, but December 21 locally in Japan.
Far from the wildest addition to Fortnite, especially with the latest Kim Kardashian addition, Bleach's characters fitting perfectly into its metaverse. Their idiosyncratic elements that set them apart from other shonen anime, and even the new wave of Harry Potter content, exemplify the metaverse's broadening appeal to its massive player base. But Bleach has other motives to promote this, too.
