White Lotus creator Mike White just confirmed the addition of Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka to the cast of the HBO show's fourth season.

The pair will headline White Lotus season 4, which is set in France. While the new actors have been confirmed, story details and characters remain shrouded in mystery. The only other piece of information HBO has released is that the fourth installment will once again feature a new group of guests and staff at the White Lotus hotel.

Filming for White Lotus season 4 has been speculated to begin in spring. While the upcoming chapter will be set in France, audiences still don't know which city or town it will take place in. Past seasons of the show have relied on Four Seasons to double as the fictional resort. France offers a decent number of high-profile hotels that could be used, as HBO does not have a marketing partnership with the Four Seasons at this time.

HBO CEO and chairman, Casey Bloys, confirmed last month (November) that the casting process is underway for the next chapter of the award-winning murder mystery anthology. White often assembles casts that are filled with both big-name and lesser-known actors, so it'll be quite hard to predict who the remaining members of the ensemble will be.

HBO's White Lotus is a dark comedy anthology series that sometimes pokes fun at the wealthy and privileged. It always features different groups of guests and employees at the fictional luxury White Lotus hotels over a week-long stay. And, there is always a murder mystery at the center of each season. The show has received high praise from fans and critics alike, even winning 16 Emmy Awards and 66 nominations.

White Lotus season 4 will once again be helmed by White, who, along with being the creator and director, is also a writer for the show. He is an executive producer for the show, as well, alongside David Bernad and Mark Kamine.
