Here's how it happened. Jacksonville struck first and set the tone early when Trevor Lawrence hit Parker Washington for a 12-yard touchdown, giving the Jaguars a 7-0 lead that forced the Broncos to play from behind.
Denver answered in the second quarter, with Bo Nix connecting with Courtland Sutton on a 15-yard touchdown pass to even things up.
The Broncos then took their first lead of the day when Wil Lutz drilled a 54-yard field goal. But Jacksonville responded before the half was over with a 3-yard touchdown pass from Lawrence to Brenton Strange, and then Cam Little added a 47-yard field goal to give the Jaguars a 17–10 lead heading into halftime.
Denver wasn’t done yet, as RJ Harvey scored on a 38-yard rushing touchdown to keep the Broncos within striking distance, but Jacksonville wasn’t finished.

Moments later, Travis Etienne Jr. capped an 80-yard drive with a 10-yard touchdown reception from Lawrence to push the Jaguars’ advantage further.
In the fourth quarter, Little added a 26-yard field goal to make it a two-score game, and though Lutz hit a 21-yard field goal for Denver later in the quarter, it wasn’t enough to overcome Jacksonville’s 14-point lead.
The Jaguars’ offense found rhythm early and kept Denver off-balance, while the Broncos had spurts of success but couldn’t string enough drives together to reclaim control. The result was a convincing road victory for Jacksonville in a tough environment, strengthening their position as a serious contender in the AFC.
